At one point, I thought that there might be multiple instances of the plug-in running, but I was able to convince myself that this was not true. This helped, and there was very low DSP usage, but when I tried to render (bounce) the file, the dsp usage shot up again, and the program made the same complaint. In my flailing with it, I tried rebooting the computer, and then restarting audition and the uad2. Now there is only ONE plugin that I'm trying to use. The problem I'm having is sometimes a plug-in, let's use the LA-2 for this, takes 80% of the dsp power, and then when I try to render the file, the dsp usage shoots up to 98% and then the program complains that it can't load any plugins. ![]() ![]() ![]() Note that the uad-2 runs fine with ProTools9, but for some tasks, audition works faster (especially for rendering). I'm trying to run my uad-2 with adobe audition on my macbook.
